Key Activities:
A researcher and quality management professional in the food industry, Arie has experience in business development, as a Quality and Lead Auditor, and in health and safety management.
Arie has spent 29 years at MIRINZ as a Meat Science Researcher within the Product and Consumer Science Division on involving meat quality, pre-slaughter stress, animal welfare, product development, meat aging rates, meat quality, Asian consumer audits, surveys, and international trade fairs. Arie has experience with technical management for regulatory compliance, customer and NZFSA audits, and Health and Safety in Dairy (Fonterra) and Meat Plant Operations.
Arie’s objectives are to provide value-adding solutions to benefit all QEC clients using his management and technical skills, and for QEC to be a significant contributor to the productivity and efficiency of New Zealand’s primary processes and industry.
